Overview
Taskin is a streamlined task management application designed for simplicity and efficiency. It resides in your menu bar, allowing quick task addition and management.
Basic Features
Adding Tasks
- Click the Taskin icon in the menu bar to open the popover
- Enter your task in the text field and press Enter to add it
Task Management
- Complete tasks: Toggle the checkbox to mark tasks as complete
- Delete tasks: Right-click the task and select “Delete”
- Reorder tasks: Drag and drop to change task order
Viewing Task History
- Click the hamburger menu in the menu bar
- Select “History”
- In the history view, you can:
- Search for tasks
- Filter by completion status
- View all task history
- Permanently delete tasks
Pro Features (Subscription)
Subscribe to Taskin Pro to unlock the following features:
Google Todo Sync
- Sync tasks created in Google Todo to Taskin
- Synchronize completion status
- Important Note: Tasks created in Taskin will NOT sync to Google Todo
How to Use Pro Features
- Open Settings (Hamburger menu → Settings)
- Click “Purchase Pro Plan” to subscribe
- Enable Google Todo integration:
- Toggle “Enable Google Todo Integration”
- Click “Sign in with Google” to connect your Google account
How Sync Works
- Tasks created in Google Todo are synced manually by clicking the “Sync Google Todo” button
- The “Sync Google Todo” button is available in two places:
• In the hamburger menu
• Next to the “Hide All Done” button on the main screen
A Pro subscription and Google integration must be enabled to use this feature. - Task completion status syncs bidirectionally
- Tasks created in Taskin remain local and do not sync to Google Todo
Additional Features
- Settings: Manage application preferences
- Task History: Review all tasks, including completed ones
- Quick Actions: Fast task management from the menu bar
Support
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the “Cancel Subscription” button in the Settings screen.
