Terms of Use for Annotify

Annotify is a macOS application distributed via the Apple App Store. By downloading, installing, or using Annotify, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Annotify, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this application.

2. License Agreement

Annotify is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of Annotify is governed by the terms of the standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.

3. Required Permissions

Annotify requires screen recording permission to function properly. By using this app, you agree to grant the necessary screen recording access. You can revoke these permissions at any time through macOS System Settings.

4. Subscription Terms

Annotify offers a subscription-based service:

• Free Trial: 30-day free trial period for new users
• Subscription: $0.99/month after the trial period
• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Use of the Application

You may use Annotify for personal and commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. Common use cases include:

• Online presentations and meetings
• Educational content creation
• Screen recordings and tutorials
• Technical demonstrations

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the application
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the application
• Use the application to record or capture content without proper authorization

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of Annotify, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of techback and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Annotify is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, techback shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Annotify, including but not limited to issues with screen annotation, cursor highlighting, or screenshot capture.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms. Your continued use of Annotify after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Apple App Store applications, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Termination

These terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the application and delete all copies from your devices.
