Habiting (herein called "this app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle user information.

1. Data We Handle

Your habit data (such as habit names, records, and counts) is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data and is not transmitted to our servers. This app does not include any analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs, and it does not collect usage statistics for tracking purposes.

Some optional features require access to additional data or device permissions. These features are described in the sections below. When you enable them, the relevant data is processed on your device to power the feature and is not sent to our external servers or shared with third parties.

2. Location-Based Reminders (Optional)

If you enable location-based reminders, this app uses your location to detect when you arrive at or leave a place you have specified, so it can remind you about a habit. This feature relies on iOS region monitoring and requires "Always" location access so that reminders can work in the background.

Your location is used solely on your device to determine these arrivals and departures. We do not transmit your location to our external servers, and we do not share it with third parties. You can disable this feature or revoke location access at any time in the iOS Settings app.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Integration (Optional)

If you choose to connect Apple Health, this app reads health data such as step count, sleep, and workouts in order to automatically judge whether a habit has been completed and to keep your counts in sync.

HealthKit data is processed on your device and is never transmitted to our external servers or shared with third parties. We use HealthKit data only to provide the in-app features described above, in accordance with Apple's HealthKit policies. You can manage or revoke this access at any time in the iOS Settings or Health app.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

This app offers a monthly subscription and a one-time (lifetime) purchase. To process and verify purchases, the app communicates with Apple's App Store via StoreKit. The developer does not receive or store your payment details; all payment processing is handled by Apple. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles payment information.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

This app does not sell or provide your personal data to third parties. Apart from communication with Apple's App Store for purchase verification (and, where you enable it, Apple's HealthKit framework on your device), the app does not transmit your habit, location, or health data over the Internet.

6. Security Measures

Your habit, location, and health data are processed and stored locally on your iOS device. Communication with Apple's services (such as the App Store) is protected by Apple's secure infrastructure.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The data described above is processed locally on the device and is not used for tracking.

8. Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy if deemed necessary. Any updates will be posted on this page.
