1. Getting Started
Installation

Download Taskin from the Mac App Store

Open Taskin from your Applications folder or Launchpad

2. Creating Tasks
Adding a New Task
There are several ways to create a new task:
- Click the + button
- Use the keyboard shortcut ⌘ + N
- Start typing in the quick add field
Task Details
Each task can include:
- Title - Brief description of the task
- Notes - Additional details or context
- Due Date - When the task should be completed
- Category - Organize tasks by project or area
3. Managing Tasks
Completing Tasks
Click the checkbox next to a task to mark it as complete. Completed tasks are moved to the completed section.
Editing Tasks
Click on any task to open its details and make changes.
Deleting Tasks
Right-click on a task and select "Delete" or swipe left on the task.
Tip: Use keyboard shortcuts to work faster. Press ⌘ + ? to see all available shortcuts.

Categories
Create categories to organize your tasks by project, area of life, or any grouping that makes sense for you.
Filtering and Sorting
Use the sidebar to filter tasks by:
- All tasks
- Today's tasks
- Upcoming tasks
- Completed tasks
- Specific categories
5. Keyboard Shortcuts
- ⌘ + N - New task
- ⌘ + Enter - Complete selected task
- ⌘ + Delete - Delete selected task
