Habiting User Manual (Android)

Welcome to Habiting, a habit tracking app designed to help you build and maintain positive habits. This guide will help you get started and make the most of Habiting's features.

Installation

1 Download Habiting from the Google Play Store
2 Open Habiting from your app drawer

Adding a New Habit

Tap the + button to create a new habit. You can customize:

3. Tracking Your Progress

Daily Check-ins

Tap a habit in the Todo tab to mark it complete for the day. Completed habits move to the Done tab.

Skipping Tasks

Swipe a task to skip it. Skipped tasks move to the Skip tab and don't count against your completion rate.

Viewing Statistics

The Log tab shows your history and analytics:

Tip: Start with just 2-3 habits and gradually add more as they become routine. Building too many habits at once can be overwhelming.

4. Reminders & Notifications

Setting Up Reminders

Reminders are configured app-wide in Settings. You can register up to 5 reminder times that fire every day, helping you stay on track regardless of which habits you've added.

5. Backup & Restore

You can export all of your habits and history as a JSON file from Settings, and import a backup later or on another device.
